First Visit

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children have their first dental visit once the first tooth appears, and no later than the child’s first birthday.

When you come for your child’s first visit, please arrive fifteen (15) minutes beforehand. This allows for parking, to complete any additional paperwork, present your insurance card, and see your child on time. A parent or legal guardian (with official documentation) must be present during the initial examination and/or restorative appointment. Make sure to provide us with complete information regarding your child’s health history so that we may better serve your child’s needs.

To schedule your child’s first appointment, please give us a call at +1 360-573-3176. We look forward to seeing you and your child.

To download PDF versions of the forms you will need to fill out, please visit our Patient Forms page.

Late Arrival Policy

If you arrive ten (10) or more minutes late for your child’s appointment, you may be asked to reschedule for the next available time and it will be counted as a broken appointment. This policy will be strictly enforced.

Appointment Confirmations

When making an appointment over the phone, please keep your schedule information in a place where you will be easily reminded. When making an in-office appointment, we will provide an appointment card. Our front desk does call to confirm an appointment at least one (1) day ahead.

Due to the high demands for general anesthesia treatment, we will try to confirm these types of appointments two (2) days ahead of time. If we are unable to confirm an anesthesia appointment by 12:00pm the day before the appointment day, we reserve the right to allocate the slot to another patient.

Rescheduling and Cancellations

We understand that unforeseeable events including emergency may arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please inform our office at least 24 hours ahead of time. This will enable other patients with urgent dental care requests to fill in the spot.

Broken Appointments

For any appointment cancelled without 24 hours’ advance notice or missed appointments (“No Shows”), shall count as a “broken appointment”. For any broken appointment, we reserve the right to perform the following:

  • For the FIRST (1st) broken appointment, NO new appointment within Four (4) WEEKS.
  • For the SECOND (2nd) broken appointment, NO new appointment will be given and ONLY WALK-Ins will be accepted.
  • For the THIRD (3rd) broken appointment, AUTOMATIC DISMISSAL from the practice

** For appointments that were confirmed, but broken without notice to our office, we reserve the right to dismiss. **

We accept most insurances.
